Customers say
Customers find the awning works well over campers and appreciate its size, being perfect for teardrop campers and fitting easily in cars. The design receives positive feedback, with customers noting it provides great rain and sun cover. Assembly experiences are mixed, with some finding it straightforward while others consider it a challenge to set up alone. Build quality and value for money also receive mixed reviews – while some praise the sturdy material and consider it worth the price, others report issues with poles coming apart and find it overpriced. Glad I purchased this car tent for my jeep
It was raining all day so when I put this up and connected it to the back of the jeep, I left it down and spiked it to keep the rain out. Is definitely keeps water out and made my car camping worth it. Highly recommend.

Recommend
It needs to have sides that drop down part way, to prevent too much rain. Also, most of these need more rivets at the top to allow better connections. It’s still nice, but improvements would make it great. Thanks

Works but needs adjustments
I bought this for the beach, but the stakes it comes with are better for dirt or hard ground. I purchased some long screw stakes for the beach. Also the design is a little flawed to me. Not sure why you have poles that go inside but you have one on the outside. If all the went underneath it would keep it from folding in on itself when it’s windy. Other than that I purchased some stoppers for the tip that holds it up. If it’s windy enough it just flies off regardless of the stakes holding it down. After a little maneuvering made it work out. On the bright side I do live that it suction cups to the outside window giving it extra gripping power.

Worth every penny
This awning saved our recent week of offroad camping. It works really well as designed but we used it on the ground sideways (like a curved wall) to block the cold wind as we huddled around an LP firepit. Once staked down, it can handle an impressive amount of wind. I only wish we’d had another one to block the wind from 2 sides! It goes together in about 2 minutes and back down just as quick. It packs away nicely in a small bag. I replaced the cheapo guyline ropes with 550 cord and I haven’t messed with the suction cups. I love the versatility. This trip wasn’t the first time we used it but with a little creativity it really shined on a couple of cold, windy nights. Every other member of our group vowed to get one of their own before our next adventure.

A bitter disappointment
In theory, I liked it. But even the best ideas, when made with shoddy material, won’t work. I have a picture the first time I used it, and it already had holes in it. But they were minuscule mostly, and I decided to overlook it because I wanted to go freaking CAMPING. Big mistake. This week I took my 91 year old dad camping and the thing just would not cooperate. You would get the suction cups affixed, and the poles would come apart. So you put the poles back together, and the suction cup popped off. It made me want to cuss, and almost made me hate camping. This week the seams ripped and it wouldn’t hold the poles and so I trashed it and felt good doing it. But no product should make a person hate camping, and this one about did it, I’m sorry. You can do whatever you want, but I wouldn’t buy this again, no way.

Buyer beware – Poor quality
Used for one week at the Burn and at first it appeared to be well made and what i was hoping for. When i went to pack it up I found all the inside loops had peeled the waterproof tape away… I didn’t even USE these loops so basically the sun and wind peeled the tape. I don’t expect it to last but I’ll tape it up and cross my fingers.

perfect for car camping
Bought this so I could car camp in the rain with windows partly down and sun roof open for ventilation. Very easy to put up, love that you can adjust it to 3 levels of height. I did buy gorilla tape to put on the places where it looked like the poles might rub (better to anticipate a problem than to have to deal with one), and I bought “real” stakes to use since the flimsy ones it comes with don’t look like they will hold up. Slept 2 nights in wind and rain with nary a drop of rain in the car. It looks really snazzy too! Very pleased with this purchase!

I bought this for my son for Christmas. He is a 4×4 and camping enthusiast. He absolutely loved it. His mates were envious. It works really well attached to the back of his Toyota Prado SUV. Here are some pics from his first time use at a lake side in WA. It packs up really small, so it’s really a space saver in the cargo area. The only thing he thinks he will do is change out the cords to something a bit stronger. He said the nylon material was strong. Great buy. Get it!

MOST HAPPY with this product! Just bought a new Bushwacker (tear drop style trailer) and ordered this with fingers crossed… was NOT disappointed.Quality product! Excellent versatility. Speedily and smoothly set up in a variety of configurations on our maiden camping voyage … had a few brief periods of high winds and rain and maintained its integrity!Provided extended outdoor living space wherever we placed it (perpendicular to trailer at entrance door and parallel at rear to extend the “kitchen” space.Kudos to the design and engineering of this.Price was Quite reasonable, especially when compared to brands offered through RV sites that were priced Over 1000$!!!!

I bought this to go over the top of my old Landrover 110 when I am camping. It completely covers the tub and gives about 1 metre extra space at the back so you’ve got a dry spot right there if it rains.

This awning is so easy to put together, sits well on the back of the car and my teardrop camper. Came with picture institutions, So easy to put together by myself and take down. The two tent poles it came with are ok but preferred to use my extension tent poles as they seemed sturdier.Stood up to the windy conditions just fine.
