Smells great, lathers great (though we’re on a water softener). Has that mentholated smell from the barber shop. You WILL notice this if you get it in your eyes. Not painful or anything, but GOOD MORNING EYEBALLS!Get the beard balm they make in the blue tin.

This was actually the first beard wash I purchased 2 years ago, when I made the change from “not shaving” to “growing a beard”. I have tried a few others since then, but this is still a regular in my rotation. It smells nice, works well on oily skin, and is very reasonably priced for bottle size. Leaves my face feeling clean, and hair feeling soft. Pump top is easy to use. I keep a few options on this sink, but this is the only one I keep in the shower. There’s nothing to think about – it just does what it should.

Great Product, Slightly Shady Practices from Manufacturer
Product itself is fantastic and I would highly recommend it to others. However, there’s a couple shady things that made me take off 2 stars. First and less important, the manufacturer put a barcode sticker overtop of the ingredients of the product. Why this sticker couldn’t have been located anywhere else is unknown to me but it is a bit shady to be attempting to hide the ingredients. Secondly, the bottle that I received is not the same one that is shown in the listing on Amazon or on the seller’s website. I’m personally less worried about this one, because this is likely just a label change, but it is strange to sell a product on the website and then send a different one with no explanation to the customer. Attached will be a picture of the bottle I received, so that you can compare it yourself as well. I took off 1 star for each of these complaints.

It has a classic barbershop smell to it and I really enjoy it. It’s also fairly concentrated. I have short, but very oily hair, and 3 pumps was probably a bit more than enough for my whole head

I bought the lotion and oil today, but the production date is from 7/21 and the expiration date is 6/24. This means that I can use it in only 3 months. This is not good.
