The Ergodyne ProFlex 100 Economy Spandex Back Support is designed to remind workers of proper lifting techniques while also enhancing the body’s intra-abdominal pressure, moving the stress away from the spine for back pain relief. Features rubber track webbing to help keep support in position. SIZING To choose your size, use flexible measuring tape and find the circumference around your body at your belly button. The support should fit snugly around your hips with the front of the support two-fingers width below your navel. An easy-to-use hook & loop closure keeps the belt securely fastened while in use and can be worn over or underneath clothing. Adjust the suspenders straps to fit securely on your shoulders without causing tension. Turn it into a back support belt by simply detaching the shoulder straps from the belt. HOW IT WORKS Ergodyne ProFlex Back Supports provide lower back support and abdominal support for lifting heavy objects. Tightening the back support belt enhances the body’s intra-abdominal pressure and moves the stress away from the spine. Excelllent
This back support belt is excellent for my workers. It provides great support and protects their lower back, especially when lifting heavy loads. Since they started using it, they’ve experienced less back discomfort and feel much safer while working. Highly recommended for anyone doing physical labor regularly.

My old back brace started to show some sign of fatigue, so it was the time to get a new one. I went with this particular model because I liked the fact it comes with suspenders.It gives a great and firm support while working, which is what I was looking for. However, the suspender will constantly loosen up, which makes me often stop working to re-adjust them, which is quite annoying.Also, for the best support, I decided to order a size under of what my measurement recommended, and that was a great decision.

Beware their sizing recommendations. The graphic states WAIST SIZE, with widths to match. However, the instructions say to measure at your BELLY BUTTON. I followed this and measured as directed. The result is the belt is much too wide. With the velcro fastened, the belt is too loose and doesn’t provide the support needed.Many men are going to have some disparity between waist and stomach – that’s where our excess weight is stored.

I had a DIY job where I had to move more than 100 of 160KG sleepers so bought this to help me on the task.I’d hasten to add that we rented a JCB to do lost of the lifting and transporting, but there was still a lot of manhandling to get the sleepers into position.At the end of the first day, wearing this belt, I felt better than I thought I would. But it was so uncomfortable that I ditched it 30 minutes into the second day.I felt a lot more done-in after the second day so maybe that’s the difference between wearing this and not?To be honest, it reminded me of some safety guards on machinery that get in the way so much that you end up removing them so you can get on with the job. In conclusion, probably helpful but no use if it’s so much faff that you leave it lying on the kitchen floor.
