Good tent!
Overall this tent was a great buy! The height was tall enough in the center for me to stand up (I’m 5’9”) the setup was pretty quick and the quality was good! The zippers worked great the whole time and the ventilation seemed good!

ROOMY TENT AND NICE TOO
This tent definitely requires two people at least to set it up. It’s a very big tent so getting the poles across it is hard if its just one person. The instructions are sewn into the carrying bag, which is cool so they don’t get lost. I could understand them but I feel like they could’ve been written a little bit better. It instructs you to lay the tent out flat then assemble the poles and lay them across the tent then snap on the latches, but it doesn’t say anything about putting the poles through the orange fabric loops- make sure you do that so you don’t have to pull the poles back and do it again like I did. Also, I didn’t noticed that there was stabilizing ropes around all four corners of the rain cover part. I only staked down the ones in the front and my tent got blown over. But there was nothing in it and it was in our backyard so it wasn’t a big deal. However it probably happened because I didn’t do all 6 ropes, only the front 4. But I will say that the stakes it comes with are just smooth metal, they’re easy to put in the ground but also easy to pull out. And I don’t know maybe most tents come with this type of stake these days but the ones I’m used to are big and plastic and hard to drive into the ground and they don’t budge. This tent looks very nice, and I love the front awning thing. It is big enough to fit a small table and chairs. It’s made of high quality materials and strong stitching. It even has a velcro flap where you can run an electrical cord into the tent and velcro around it which is cool. Lots of big windows and the top is open mesh unless you cover it with the rain fly. It comes with extra stakes, however I will be buying different stakes to use that stay in the ground better. It’s a very good quality tent at a reasonable price, it just needs better stakes.

Looks Amazing and roomy.
Tent just arrived and honestly I hadn’t planned on setting it up yet, I have plans for may-june. Honestly i’m kind of tired of smaller pop up tents where I can’t stand up to get dressed. Buying a 6 person tent for a single person might sound kind of ridiculous but honestly its not. Most of my camping history involves lots of additional gear. Medieval reenactment, armor and weapons, collapsable table and chairs where a 4 person tent worked fairly well. Then there is the simplified camping when fishing and hiking using a 2 person pop up tent. I’m 53 now and like to sit more often and spoil myself. This 6 person screened tent looks great, comments from everyone were positive if not glowing. That’s a big plus in my opinion. Who knows might get a friend or two come camping with me.So a big thank you to you all for making a great looking tent and making my future camping trips just that much more enjoyable.

Love this so much!!!
I’m nor a camper at all but I really like this tent. My daughter had been begging me for a tent to go “camping” so i already put it up in the backyard to try out try out and it’s got so much room!! I love the ” bonus” area when u walk in – u could set up a couple chairs and TV. This is great quality, can sleep a family of 6 at least!! This might turn me into a camper fanatic after all 🙂

NOT the solution for anyone wanting to keep the mosquitoes away; otherwise, decent 1-season tent
I always say that my relationship with nature is very one-sided; I love the outdoors, but it definitely does NOT love me back. Or maybe it just loves me a little too much, as mosquitoes are my #1 concern when spending any amount of time outside. I don’t use scented body products, I cover myself in DEET (yes, we’re to that point) when I go outside, and I wear long sleeves and pants (even in the middle of July in Texas, which I ended up getting heatstroke from this summer – I even preferred that to getting bitten by mosquitoes). Despite all of this, they still find a way to bite me, leaving me covered in huge welts since I’m super allergic to their saliva and itchy for the next week or two.If you’re in the same mosquito-riddled boat I’m in, please know that the enclosed patio only offers minimal protection from particularly persistent pests – it does not fully attach/enclose the tent area, as the rainfly has a huge cutout over the windows on the sides, leaving a gaping area on both sides where mosquitoes can easily find their way inside the “patio” area. The vestibule also does not offer protection from the rain (since the rainfly leaves the mesh doors unprotected), so it’s pretty limited to only providing some sun shade. This is a decent 1-season tent. Great for short trips during the spring or summer when rain isn’t in the forecast (the tent itself is waterproof, so could feasibly be a 2-season tent if you don’t plan on using the vestibule for gear storage as advertised). Person capacity for tents is typically calculated assuming everyone is sleeping in sleeping bags side-by-side, so if you’re a family of 6, I would advise looking for an 8-10 person tent if you also want to store your gear inside with you. My husband and I like camping in tents designed for much larger groups to accommodate all of our gear plus two cots and a little camping table we set up inside. This was spacious enough to fit everything inside comfortably. I was just disappointed I couldn’t sit in the patio area as planned.

So Good
In early September we went camping in big bear mountain. The weather got a little cooler but it didn’t rain. I love how easy it is to assemble. The tent is very spacious. The front hall of the tent can block mosquitoes very well. Of course the children are also very happy to have a new tent.

Don’t buy this!!
Brand new tent leaks in several spots on seams. Resealed with silicone and found 3 more. Also fiberglass poles that I think one has split on second time setting up. Will buy aluminum replacements once I take it back down if i can find them. Also a chore to set up by one person. One positive, very roomy and screen room is nice.
