Better space because of the boxy design
This is a better tent that I got from Portal. The previous one is narrower but longer and has a screened patio, but the other end is too steep so that you can’t use the space to put your bed. Anyhow, I like this tent better because it’s boxy and you can use all the space. It’s easy to set up, and it is made of high-quality material. The canopy is perfect for hanging out or a space where you can cook your food with some cover or shade. Overall, I like this product and I will recommend it.

Reliable, Spacious, and Great for Group Camping
I ordered this tent for camping trips with friends and it’s been a great investment. It’s large enough to comfortably fit a group, and the interior space is surprisingly generous—there’s plenty of room to stand and walk around without crouching, thanks to the tall ceiling. I’ve used several different tents over the years, and this one stands out for the usable space and smart layout. The setup took a little time the first go-round, especially with the wind picking up, but once you figure out the pole structure, it goes much quicker. There are no labels on the poles, which would’ve helped, but after one practice run, the process becomes a lot more intuitive. I’d definitely recommend setting it up at home first. The included room divider is actually really useful. It helps with privacy or just organizing gear and sleeping bags into different sections. The porch/awning area adds a lot too—great for storing shoes or sitting under some shade. There’s also a ton of airflow thanks to the mesh roof, windows, and vents, which kept things cool and comfortable even during warmer weather. It’s worth mentioning that the tent and everything that comes with it (stakes, rainfly, etc.) are a bit heavy, so this isn’t something I’d bring on a backpacking trip. But for car camping or a few nights in one spot, it’s ideal. The materials feel sturdy and the rainfly held up fine through a rainy night. As far as capacity, eight people might be a stretch unless you’re just sleeping and packing in closely. Four to six would be more realistic if you want space for bags and some comfort. Still, for a tent in this price range, I’ve been impressed by the durability and features. The storage bag is a little tight when packing everything back in—getting it to fit neatly does take some effort. But overall, this is one of the better large tents I’ve used in a long time. It’s now my go-to for group trips.

Good tent for the money and the main seams are welded
This is a nice tent for the money. Lots of room and the double doors and space divider are nice to have. It is a big tent and therefore a little heavy and bulky, but having that much space is really nice. Set up was fairly easy and it took the 2 of us about 40 minutes to set it up for the first time, ensuring that we put it together correctly and securely. All the parts were accounted for and in good condition

    Great tent for families
I have a similar size tent from a different manufacturer that we have used for years and really enjoy. But with our kids getting bigger and our regular use while camping we decided to get this tent to add to our gear. It has not dissappointed so far. It is very spacious and everyone can easily stand up inside with the tall ceiling height. It has a divider that can get put up down the middle to make it a two room tent which is great to be able to give my kids a feeling of their own room while not having individual tents. This is even more prevelant since thos particular model also has two seperate doors so you dont have to go through one room to get to the other while the divider is up unlike in my old tent. The poles are sturdy and the larger ones instead of using elastic cord seem to have a small cable and spring inside, so hopefully these will last a very long time before wearing out like most.

Sizable, functional, good quality tent! Comes in compact duffel bag, hard to fit back into it
This is the niftiest tent I’ve ever seen (not that I’ve seen a ton of them, but still, I find it impressive). It’s quite a big and tall tent–and I guess eight people could hang out inside it and play a board game or something–though it’s not big enough for that many to sleep in comfortably (6 or fewer, depending on comfort level). There’s a divider so you can split the tent into two spaces, though there’s a gap at the top. The mesh roof makes it bright and airy, and the rain cover has an extra flap that can give you a covered “porch”.The instructions suggest going through the assembly process to learn it before trying to deploy it in the field…which is definitely wise. I set it up in the yard and didn’t find it particularly easy–especially in the presence of wind (in general you aren’t going to want to attempt setting it up in any kind of adverse weather). The poles aren’t labeled, and letters would have helped. Until you’ve kind of discovered how the tension holds it together and how much it’s supposed to bend, it’s a little puzzling–at least to someone like me who has limited tent experience. But having assembled it once, I’d find it a lot easier to do next time.Taking the tent down is no problem, but there should be a prize for anyone who gets everything back into the bag it comes in. The instructions suggest applying water sealant to the seams, which is not included…so I’m not sure how good the rain resistance is if you don’t do that. On first impressions it seems like a really nicely designed tent that’s pleasant to be in. It seems to be made of good material, though it would take a few real-world camping scenarios to see how well it holds up. I’ll revisit with further thoughts based on those experiences.
