Quality face wash
I have used this face wash for many years and it is the only one I buy. Haven’t had many acne breakouts and if I do it is always minimal. I always make sure to use it twice a day. Also smells great!

good product, but take care and make sure it is appropriate for you
This is a good product that is what it says it is – an oil-free skin cleaner with salicylic acid. My daughter loves it, thinks it works well, and has purchased it many times. But I have sensitive skin and never use a product with salicylic acid. Although I use other Neutrogena products, this particular product is very irritating to my skin. So maybe think twice about purchasing it, if you have very sensitive skin. Also, for everyone, salicylic acid can make your skin more sensitive to the sun and to getting sunburned. So, if you are using this product, take care to protect your skin from the sun.

Love this stuff! Works great– my face is quite clear and my pores are much smaller.

Helps with cystic acne.
I was using the regular liquid neutrogena and switched to this because I was experiencing cystic acne, it does a good job reducing the cystic acne and doesn’t irritate my skin.

My go to
This is the only face wash that has helped with my breakouts! I have very sensitive and oily skin.

Deep Clean is better for combo skin
It’s a classic for a reason- it works. But be warned, it’s very strong and drying. I prefer the “Deep Clean” wash over this just based on smell alone, but it also doesn’t seem to be as strong. I have combination skin, with only the occasional hormonal zit, and it seems to work pretty well at keeping bacteria at bay- but so does “Deep Clean” without the irritation. Moisturizer is a must with this after cleansing or your skin will feel tight, dry, and uncomfortable.

Better than $50 products!!
I’ve struggled with blackheads all my life and white heads. I’ve used proactive, Clinique, cetraphil, all the blackhead scrubs pretty much and this is the only thing that works. I do suggest a moisturizer as well because the first week it drys out that red acne and causes flakiness. But I’ve noticed and huge change in my skin now when I go to the mirror there’s nothing to pop lol
