Love the pan!
I’m in the process of replacing my pans with plastic and I have a wonderful old set of Reverware that they don’t make anymore. But the handles are all plastic and while they will last a million years, I don’t want any plastic in my kitchen. So I bought a set of stainless steel pans, but needed to supplement the smaller sizes, which I use more of. I bought one of the 1 quart and 1 of the 2-quart pans. This Cuisinart 1-quart pot is built to last. It’s heavy, and will endure all my cooking nightmares. It’s dishwasher safe, which is a must for me. It’s 3 cups and has a very light measuring gauge inside which I can barely see, and am sure will rub off in time. The lid is not glass, but metal and is very sturdy as well. Completely happy with this purchase. The pictures are of the 1-quart and 1-quart side by side.

Not A Quart Size Pot
Please note that this is NOT a four cup or Quart size. It clearly states on the pot that it is a THREE CUP POT. The quality of the pot is very good and as I needed a smaller pot as well as the four cup I thought I was getting, I just decided to keep it. But if you want a four cup pot, this is not the one for you.

I use this pot for heating milk mostly, and it excels in the role, with good heat distribution, drip-free pouring, easy cleanup and liquid volume markings on the inside surface. The long handle can cause the pot to tip over when empty on a gas stove like mine, where the pot is only supported from four directions – you won’t have a problem when there’s a little weight in the pot, nor on a flat surface like an induction stove. Even a trivet would fix it.

This is a great “mini pot”! We bought it after a full Kirkland Signature pot set we got turned out to not have a small enough saucepan for our frequent single or small servings. This small pot matched the style of our full set quite well, and is very solid, and a great quality stainless steel. The volume measurement markings on the inside are a handy touch. I would recommend this pot to anyone. In our household of 2, it has become the most frequently used saucepan, along with one that is the next size up. It easily fits 3 or 4 large chicken eggs.
