    Simple setup!
I received this tent and since I will be camping solo, I did a test setup in my living room before I head out for my first trip. Super easy to set up and there is plenty of room inside for my air mattress and all my other stuff that I’ll take with. The material seems like it will hold up to most weather but that will be seen as I start to use. I did have one small issue with the tent setup and when I contacted the seller they were very responsive to my request and had a solution ready for me. I believe the value of the tent is on point especially if you are a small group that will be using.

Allowed me to Tent Camp again
I purchased this tent primarily for the apparent simplicity of setting up and tearing down. I have had multiple surgeries but still love to tent camp. I tested in my back yard and it went up very easy, taking down was a bit of a comedy film, but that was me. I took it out for a real test last week. Again, set up was incredibly easy. The tent has good ventilation and was very comfortable. I live in the NM desert and not thinking things through went up to hike some cave dwellings. It still gets to the high 30’s in elevation. I was very impressed with how the tent keep much of the chill outside. I was very pleased with my first time out. I’ll try desert heat next, but I am very pleased with my purchase.Upate- since it has done very well in a wind event and I was very impressed with the heat repellent quality. It was 8 AM in direct east desert sun. Most importantly the ease in set up is amazing. I can set it up or take down in less than 3 minutes alone. With 18 surgeries and coping with PTSD getting back out and I go alone. Being over six feet and needing a bigger tent it is either frustrating, maddening or impossible to set up a tent alone.

    A reasonably good tent
I spent 8 nights in this tent on a 2 week camping trip, I faced typical weather you’d face over the course of 3 seasons. This tent performed well, though not perfectly. Lets look at what I like and don’t like about this tent.Pros1) Easy to setup: As an umbrella style tent it took less than a minute to pitch this tent, since it’s self standing it doesn’t require staking unless in wind.2) Rain resistant: It rained 2 nights of our trip, one rather mild which allowed the tent to dry before I needed to pack it, the other a down pour. This tent held up well for both. The seams are taped and didn’t leak, while everything outside the tent got soaked, everything inside stayed dry. Even when the footprint I used turned out to be too big and a puddle formed between the tent floor and the footprint the floor resisted leaking. None of the seams leaked and the side walls resisted transfer water through we touched.3) Low Condensation: 2 of the nights got down into the 50s, this is a prime condition for condensation to build up on the tent walls. Because of the vent on the peak of the tent condensation was kept to a minimum. There was some on the walls low down below the open windows, but it was easy to deal with.4) Good air flow: With the 2 large doors and windows I was able to get good air flow through the tent. Several of the nights were during the heat wave of 2022 summer and it was warm even at night, having the doors open with mesh screens keeping out the bugs made is as comfortable as possible for the conditions.5) Durability: I spent 8 nights in the tent with 6 pitches. There was no evidence of wear due to the pitching and packing of this tent.Cons1) Zippers: On my 5th pitch one of the zippers slipped it’s track I was able to get back on again, but the zipper wasn’t properly aligned after that and no longer moved easily. I had to abandon using that door. Fortunately the failed zipper was on the mesh door rather than the weather door, so I could still adjust the weather door depending on the weather.2) Doors: While the doors themselves were fine the weather doors are external to the mesh doors. This meant that I would have to open the mesh door to open or close the weather door which can be awkward. Since one of my mesh door zippers had failed and became unusable that also mean to adjust that door I had to exit the tent and walk behind it to do it which is beyond awkward. I know that this door arrangement was done as a money saver to keep the tent weather resistant, but there are ways to have the weather door inside the mesh door and still keep the water out that shouldn’t be too costly to implement, this would be a real improvement on the tent.3) No matching footprint: Tents with nylon floors should be pitched over a footprint to protect the floor from sharp rocks and other objects and to act as an additional layer between the floor and the wet ground. I had to buy one that wasn’t properly matched for this tent which cause me some issue in the rain.4) Heavy: This isn’t a backpacking tent and doesn’t claim to be one. If weight isn’t a factor then this tent should to fine. I used it on a motorcycle trip so it wasn’t much of an issue. Car or canoe camping should work just as well.As you can see I have more pros than cons, though the failed zipper really is a big flaw. Still this tent performed very well during the trip. It does come with stakes and I did have to stake it down on the 5th pitch due to high wind at the campsite. It’s a bit odd that the zipper failed when the tent was staked, usually staking the tent stiffens the walls and make zipping easier. I wouldn’t have guessed this would have been the time for a zipper failure. I have to assume that the zipper was flawed and would have failed in any case.I have a friend who was using this same tent on the trip and under all the same conditions, his tent held up fine with no failures. Perhaps mine just got a bad zipper.

    Amazingly Fast Set Up
This tent is amazing. Without even looking at directions i was able to set it up in less than 3 minutes. Its for my son’s fist scout campout without parents and i was not disapointed with the tent. I also like the front and back door very nice for the warm weather here in south Texas.

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM AT ALL!!
This item is NOT and I repeat IS NOT what the description tells!! Yes it comes in the color you choose but it IS NOT WATERPROOF IT IS NOT DOUBLE OR TRIPLE LAYED!! My husband and I went camping this past weekend and it rained we woke up in the middle of the night with a tent full of water!! It was coming in EVERY WHERE!! We had to go sleep in our car!! I spent $70 couple on a piece of garbage!! We ended up going to Walmart and spending way less for ALOT better!! This is the truth and not just saying this!! I would have left -10 stars if I could!! I’m not looking to get my money back cause it’s too late but maybe this comment will save someone else their hard earned money and time on a garbage!! Absolute waste

    Poor ventilation
Ease of set up and take down a 10!Ventilation a “0”. Reason: I did not realize that the window flaps for Ventilation were on the “outside” of the tent!!!! There is no way to adjust the flaps to keep rain out while inside of the tent. You must get out and do it from the outside- poor design on that part. If you shut the outside windows flaps and you are inside the tent during the rain, condensation forms inside the tent like a greenhouse effect and drips down sides and from the top. The tent itself did not technically leak. It was the drips from condensation that got me and everything on the floor wet inside of the tent.

    I found it very good
I just bought this tent, so I have not used it outdoors, but I opened it and tried it at home. It is very spacious for 2 people, pretty sure it could fit 4. It has a nice quality, for what I can tell. It is very easy to set up, even for a first-time user like me. It is light and takes minimal storage space, with great ventilation thanks to the 2 doors and 2 windows.

I was so excited about this tent and with such great reviews, i bought one and brought it to wales. super easy to set up but i struggled with the door designs. you can’t unzip the closed window part to reveal the bug net part without opening the entire entrance which for a week of camping really drove me crazy , cuz that’s when all the bugs would come in and the last night it rained all night and water came through the tent everywhere so no it’s not waterproof. too bad, cute design, but also too short for me laying down, i could only lay diagonal at 170 cm tall
