Make sure you set up an account on tracfone’s website and securing a phone number before turning on the phone. This is a fantastic phone for the $220 I paid. I don’t know if it is as tough as my iPhone, but it’s a fraction of the price and gets the job done. In fact, the phone itself is fantastic. The tracfone cellular service isn’t exactly top tier, but with a three month plan for about $20 when 99% of the time I’ll be using wifi anyway, this does exactly what I need it to do. If you want unlimited calls and data, you might want to go with a standard phone provider, but when you don’t need that, this phone is exceptional.

I really, REALLY like this phone! It works every bit as well as (and in many cases better than) the phones friends / co-workers have who spent hundreds more.PROS: The screen is crisp and lovely, the sound is excellent – it is big enough to be legible and feels good in my hand, it fits in my purse – none of that feeling like I am lugging around an anchor weight or trying to stuff a tv screen into my pocket. It has done everything I asked of it, including not breaking when I dropped it a few times. It has an earbud jack!! Processes quickly, and had an easy learning curve when I unboxed it.CONS: The battery life could be a tad bit better. And the flashlight isn’t the brightest in the world. NOTHING major!!

My son loves his phone
Gave this to my son for his birthday. It was easy to set up and has plenty of memory for his use. He says the phone does everything he needs it to do and he has no trouble seeing the screen.

This is a great new phone from Samsung. I’ve been using Samsung phones on the TracFone network for many years, so I was especially pleased to find this, all ready for the TracFone network, available through Amazon for a great price! I’m a happy camper.

Very satisfied with phone. If you want more features (memory etc) you would have to pay more.
This is most recent of several TracFones I have owned. Transferred all data from old tracfone with no problem and assistance from Tracfone customer service, who were great. Can take a little time to get familiar with new screens and options. TicToc has MANY tutorials that I recommend. They give you an awareness of the many features you otherwise wouldn’t be aware. If unsure, ignore. I have found several to be very helpful. The menus available on phones today are extensive and you wouldn’t be aware if not for TicTok.

I love my new tracfone. I had some issues getting everything transferred, so I got on tracfone chat and the guy there worked through my issues and stayed with me until the transfer was complete. I’ve loved tracfone since I first started with them years ago.

Issue with wi-fi connection – no refund offered.
I could not even get through the set-up process on the phone because it would not connect to my wi-fi. I checked my provider’s app, and it showed a strong signal going to the phone. I tried multiple times. I looked online regarding how to resolve the issue, and it said to go to settings and turn off airplane mode – I couldn’t get to settings – I couldn’t do anything. I googled and found that wi-fi connections were an issue for others with this phone. I would have loved to have kept it, but…. So I returned it and was only refunded the shipping cost. No phone, and no refund.
